MEET JACKI LEWIS

Jacki started dancing at age 6 at Na Pali Productions & Taupou Samoa. In 2007 she joined Studio 429’s junior team, Primary Source, and later has joined Tru-definition And Studio 429’s Production team. She looks up to many dancers such as her sister Nicole Lewis, Sy Bartolome, Kristen Aguinaldo, Jeff Morales,   Mariel Martin, Keone Madrid, Tessandra Chavez, and Parris Goebel. Jacki is now a part of Studio 429’s Junior team, Breakthrough.

Jacki envisioned Janelle Monae’s powerful lyrics to “Sincerely Jane” to follow the storyline of a young girl who realizes that she is not the only one fighting a hard battle. Her concern for others to “wake up” from their downfalls and temptations prompts her to take action in overcoming her own struggles. We are all eternally connected because anything pursued in this life will be a struggle; however, faith, passion, and determination will get you to the top.

Meet Jaris Remigio

He just started dancing with Studio 429’s youngest junior team, Primary Source, and sadly he is moving to Hawaii this saturday. For his goodbye message, he decided to create a concept video. He’s gone through so much over the year that he could never forgot so all that he wishes is for him to stay. We all wish him the best of luck on his journey and we’ll all miss him dearly.

About:

The junior dance community does not get as much recognition as it should.

That being said, Project Genesis was created to help dancers/choreographers of the community help get their name and choreography out to the general public. There is so much talent among our youth that it would be a waste if not used at their full potential.
